Ghostscript has a long and highly esteemed history in both the open source and commercial software arenas and, since its inception, code quality has always been a vital part of the development process.

Coverity detects many common, and less common, programming faults including (but not limited to): buffer overflows, use of uninitialized data and dereferencing of null pointers. We maintain the Ghostscript code base with zero Coverity defects resulting in a secure and robust product.
