Artifex Reaches Settlement with Big Tin Can Over SmartOffice Mobile App Usage
The California software maker reached settlement over use of technology for SmartOffice, a leading mobile MS Office document app.
SAN RAFAEL, CA, April 11. 2016 – Artifex Software Inc., developer of leading mobile MS Office app for iOS and Android, SmartOffice, announced that it has settled its lawsuit with BigTinCan Holdings Pty. Ltd over appropriate use of SmartOffice technology and brand. The case (number 5:2014-cv-05415) was filed in United States District Court, Northern District of California. Terms of the settlement remain confidential.
